Second : 13x = 2 + 63 ; 13x=65
So : x =65/13 ; 5

Add the x's together getting 13x.
13x-63=2
Add 63 to both sides, isolating 13x by itself.
13x=65
divide it.
You get the answer of x=5.

Combine like terms:
10x + 3x = 13x
Therefore:
13x - 63 = 2
Add 63 to each side of the equation.
13x - 63 + 63 = 2 + 63

Divide each side by 13
