-3(4-x)=5-(x+1)

 -12 + 3x = 5 -x -1     ||Removing the parenthesis

 -12+ 4x  = 5-1         || Adding x to both sides, so variable is on one side

     4x  = 16          || Adding 12 to both sides and combining 

       x = 4           || dividing both sides by 4
