From A to B the x distance is 9--1 = 10
and the y distance is 11--5 = 16
-----------------------------------------
(7/8)of the 10 = 70/8 = 8.75
(7/8) of the 16 = 14

Add 8.75 to the x-coordinate of A to get -1+8.75 = 7.75
Add 14 to the y-coordinate of A to get -5+14 = 9
------
Ans: (x,y) = (7.75,9)
