You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The method (substitution or elimination) I use should not change the answer.
4*(5x-5)+3x=-3
solve for x

What is the answer if you solve each system of equation by substitution?
4y+3x=-3
y=5x-5
---------------------------
Substitute for "y" and solve for "x":
4(5x-5)+3x = -3
20x-20+3x = -3
23x = 17
x = 17/23
------------------------------
Substitute for "x" and solve for "y":
y = 5(17/23)-5
y = 85/23 - 115/23
y = 200/23
