You can put this solution on YOUR website! The slope is the ratio of rise to run. Rise is the change in y, run is the change in x. In math So if your two points are (4, -3) and (-2, 1) then the slope will be:
The midpoint is found by the midpoint formula, where the average of the x values is the x value of the midpoint and the average of the ys is the y midpoint. In other words So if you wanted to find the midpoint of 4,-3 and -2,1 you would take the average of 4 & -2 and the average of -3 and 1 So the midpoint would be (1,-1).
