Write the numbers on the Right Hand side in terms of the numbers on the Left hand Side
We know that 125 = 5*5*5
and 27 = 3*3*3
SO %283%2F5%29%5EX+=5%2A5%2A5%2F%283%2A3%2A3%29
%283%2F5%29%5EX+=+%285%2F3%29%5E%283%29
But we know that 1%2Fa+=+a%5E%28-1%29
So re-writing the left hand side we get

which means X = -3 :-)
