You can put this solution on YOUR website!
All you're doing is re-arranging the variables to make y a function of x.
You could also make x a function of y but the traditional way is y as a functino of x.
Your final answer will look like y=.... and the right hand side will only have x terms and constants.
2x-3y=-6
-3y=-6-2xSubtract (2x) from both sides
y=%28-6-2x%29%2F%28-3%29Divide both sides by (-3).
y=%286%2B2x%29%2F3Remove (-1) from numerator and denominator.
y=%282x%2B6%29%2F3
