You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6-2x+3-(4x-1)=-2x+2
First distribute the -1 outside the parenthesis to the (4x-1);
6-2x+3-4x+1=-2x+2
Now we add like terms;
6+3+1-2x-4x=-2x+2
10-6x=-2x+2
Subtract 2 from both sides:
10-6x-2=-2x+2-2
8-6x=-2x
Now add 6x to both sides;
8-6x+6x=-2x+6x
8=4x
divide both sides by 4;
8%2F4=4x%2F4
2=x
check;
6-2(2)+3-4(2)+1=-2(2)+2
6-4+3-8+1=-4+2
5-7=-2
-2=-2
Hope you understand
=)
