NO!! You need to solve for y, NOT solve for x.

+5x+=+%282%2F3%29%2A+y+-+10

I would begin by multiplying both sides by the denominator which is 3 to clear the denominator.
+3%2A+5x+=+3%2A%282%2F3%29%2A+y+-+3%2A10 Divide out the 3 on the right side:
+15x+=+2y+-+30

Add + 30 to each side to solve for y.
15x+%2B+30+=+2y

Divide both sides by 2:
%2815x%29%2F2+%2B+30%2F2+=+%282y%29%2F2
y+=+%2815%2F2%29%2Ax+%2B+15

Now that it is in slope-intercept form, the slope is the coefficient of x, which is 15%2F2 and the y-intercept is the constant, which is 15.
