You can put this solution on YOUR website! if you charge a dollar a pound and it costs you 97 cents a pound, then your profit is 3 cents a pound.
let y equal cents of profit and let x equal the pounds of wash.
your equation would be y = 3x.
when x = 5, your profit is 5 * 3 = 15 cents.
when x = 30, your profit is 30 * 3 = 90 cents.
when x = 60, your profit is 60 * 3 = 90 cents.
