Question 1086587: A certain prescription has a 0.25 cc dosage tolerance factor in its liquid form. If a doctor prescribes 2.9 cc of medication, find the upper and lower limits of the amount of medication that should be given to the patient. Do not round your answer.
I have absolutely no idea how to set this problem up. Please help me Answer by ikleyn(52781) (Show Source):
it means that not only 2.9 cc is good.
2.9 + 0.25 cc is good also; and
2.9 - 0.25 cc is good, too; and
everything in between these two endpoint values is also good.
