Hi 

Harry has 15 coins in nickels and dimes if the total is 1.20 

how much of each coin does he have ?

Let x represent the number of Dimes and (15-x) the number of Nickels

10x + 5(15-x) = 120  CENTS makes sense!

5x = 120-75 

 x =  45/5 = 9

x = 9  and y = 6 15-9
