a) You are looking for the missing leg of the triangle
b) The base of 250 is the other leg of the triangle
c) The angle 37 is the angle of elevation and it is adjacent or closest to the base of 250
tangent = opposite/adjacent
tan(angle) = opposite/adjacent
tan(37) = x/250
250*tan(37) = x
x = 250*tan(37)
x = 188.388512525699
If you round to the nearest whole number, you get 188
