Question 813598: Can you tell me if I did this right?
Solve each composition and tell whether it is an angle or a ratio:
1. cos(tan^-1(5/12) I got: .923 and that it is a ratio
2. sin^-1(cos(Pi)) I got it is an angle and it doesn't exist.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve each composition and tell whether it is an angle or a ratio:
1. cos(tan^-1(5/12) I got: .923 and that it is a ratio
It's a cosine, so it's a ratio.
If you find the terminal point, you get cos = 12/13 =~ 0.923
------------------------
2. sin^-1(cos(Pi)) I got it is an angle and it doesn't exist.
Assuming it's pi radians, cos(pi) = -1
asin(-1) = 270 degs or 3pi/2
