we know this because of the special 30-60-90 triangle the opposite of 30 is 1 and the side opposite of 30 is sqrt%283%29. Therefore, tan%2860%29=sqrt%283%29%2F1

Tan is positive in quadrant 1 and 3. so we know that x+=+pi%2F6 and x=+7pi%2F6
