Question 791025: How do I show that the area of a triangle can be given by the formula

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Consider a triangle with the
points marked as A,B and C
The sides opposite to the points
are denoted as a,b and c respectively.
The formulae you can use are:
1/2abSinC
1/2bcSinA
1/2acSinB
You are using the size of two sides
and one angle.
Example:
Triangle ABC
Angle A = 100 degrees
side c = 6cm
side b = 5cm
Using formula:
1/2 bcSinA
= 1/2 * 5 * 6 * Sin100
=1/2 * 5 * 6 * 0.985
= 14.8cm.
Hope this helps.
