Question 628290: Determine the equation of the vertical asymptotes:
y = cot(x - pi/6)
Here is my solution, but is my answer correct?
x - pi/6 = k pi
x = pi/6 + k pi

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Determine the equation of the vertical asymptotes:
y = cot(x - pi/6)
---
You have vertical asymptotes when the angle is (2n+1)pi or 2npi
Solve:
x - pi/6 = 2npi
x = (2n+(1/6)pi where n = 0,1,2...
---
OR
x - pi/6 = (2n+1)pi
x = (2n+(7/6))pi where n = 0,1,2...
