SOLUTION: what is Cos^-1square root of 2/3 using a calculator?? my book says the answer is 1.08 but i keep getting .62. what am i doing wrong?

I see what you did. On your calculator, you typed this:

cos-1(Ö(2/3))

and got .6154797087

when you should have typed this instead:

cos-1(Ö(2)/3)

and gotten 1.079913649

It's "the square root of two" divided by three,

NOT "the square root of two-thirds"
