You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I have a question.
If a ferris wheel is 18.0 inches in diameter and makes 1 revolution in 3.00 min what is the speed of a seat on the rim?
Thats one of the problems and I used the formula V=w (omega)r. Is that the correct formula
------
1 rev = (pi)d = 18(pi)in.
time = 3 min/rev
------------------------------
velocity = distance/time = [18(pi)in]/[3 min/rev] = 6(pi)in / min
