The component form of the vector V is  V = (3*cos(160°),3*sin(160°)).


So, vector V has 2 (two) components  V%5Bx%5D = 3*cos(160°)  and  V%5By%5D = 3*sin(160°).

Also, the magnitude of a vector IS NOT MEASURED in "points".

It is measured in "units".

Therefore, it is not correct to say "the magnitude of vector V is 3 points".

It is 3 units, instead.
