if degrees, it is the sine of -60 degrees which is - the sin of 60 (the sine is an odd function) or - sqrt(3)/2. The cosine is positive in the 4th quadrant and would be 1/2. sin^2 x+ cos^2 x=1
If radians, then sin 300 is divided by 2pi and look at the remainder.
300/2 pi=47.74. Round down to 47. Now multiply 47 *2pi=295.31. That means that after 295.31 radians we are back at 0 degrees.
