Question 859624: Melissa was finding the area of a triangle when she wrote:
Area = 1/2*3*4 1/2
What would the triangle she was working with look like?
I tried drawing many triangles using graph paper and a ruler, unfortunately this didn't work. I tried looking it up online, but this did not help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Melissa was finding the area of a triangle when she wrote:
Area = 1/2*3*4 1/2
What would the triangle she was working with look like?
-------------
If it's (1/2)*3*(4 1/2)
An infinite # of triangles are possible with that area and 2 sides.
base = 4 1/2
height = 3
Make it a right triangle, that's easy.
