Step 1. Perimeter P means adding the all three sides of the triangel.
Step 2. Then P=2x+4x+15+5x-9=(2+4+5)x+(15-9)=11x+6
Step 3. ANSWER: The equation for the perimeter P in this example is P=11x+6.
