You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The key is to make sure the units in the problem are the same throughout the problem. Since you have 35 mph, you need to change the 12 minutes to 12/60 = 1/5 hour.

Now, use the famous formula D=RT, where R=35 mi/hr and T=1/5 hour.

D=RT
D=35*1/5 = 7 miles

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Speed=35miles/hour=35miles/60minutes
Time=12 minutes
Distance=?

Distance = Speed * time

Distance =(35/60)*12
Distance =(35/5)
Distance =7 miles
