Question 533555: if you are driving in a car at 80mph and a fly is flying inside car, why does the fly not smash in the back window? flies cannot fly @ 80? Answer by oberobic(2304) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The car is carrying a volume of air that is moving at 80 mph relative to the ground. But inside the car itself, the air not moving very much. If you take the windshield out and drive a 80 mph you will smash the fly onto the back window.
