II cyclist 10 mph

In 3 hours cyclist I travels 18 miles: before cyclist II starts.
difference in speed = 10-6 = 4 mph.
catch up speed = 4 mph
catch distance = 18 miles
catch up time = 18 /4 = 4.5 hours.
