You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The pilot says that the speed of the plane is about 285 km per hour.
James told Sam that 285 km per hours was about the same as 80 metres per second.
--------
[285 km/hr](1000 meters/1 km)(1 hr/3600 sec)
----
= (285*1000*1)/(1*1*3600)(meters/second)
---
= 79.1666 meters/second

Hi
1km = 100m
285km = 285,000m
1 hour = 3600sec (1hr = 60min -each hr with 60 sec)
285,000m/3600sec = 79.1667 or about 80m/sec
