You can put this solution on YOUR website! If I am driving 55mph, how long would it take for me to travel 5 miles? or ten miles? how is the calculation done?
------------
time = distance/rate
---
t = 5 miles/55 mph = (1/11) hr = (1/11)(60 min) = 5.45 minutes
----------------
t = 10 miles/55 mph = (2/11) hr = 10.9 minutes

You can put this solution on YOUR website! we start with the unit fraction of 55 miles / hour. But we could also write this as 1 hour / 55 miles. = or ~ 5.45 minutes
if we want 10 miles, we get = or ~ 10.90 minutes
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 55 mph means you can travel 55 miles in 1 hour. So using unitary method, you can travel 1 mile in 1/55 hours.
This means you can travel 5 miles in 5 x = hrs and 10 miles in or hours.
Otherwise the formula for time is Distance/Speed (provided the unit of distance is same as the unit distance used to specify the speed).
So for 5 miles the time = hrs.
