.
Let "d" be the distance under the question, in kilometers.

Then you have this time equation

    d%2F15 + 1 + d%2F30 = 7   hopurs.

Simplify

    d%2F15 + d%2F30 = 6.

Multiply both sides by 30

    2d + d = 180

    3d     = 180

     d     = 180/3 = 60.

ANSWER.  60 kilometers.

He was at the farm for 1 hour, so the total travel time was 6 hours.

The ratio of the two speeds is 15:30 = 1:2; since the distances are the same, the ratio of the times at the two speeds is 2:1.

So the 6 hours total travel time was 4 hours by bicycle at 15kph and 2 hours by bus at 30kph.

So the distance to the farm is 4*15 = 2*30 = 60km.
