Question 445763: find the surface area of the prism to the nearest hundreth. the bases are right triangles. to the left of the first base next to the right triangle symbol it is the number 3.at the bottom of that base it is 4. and then on the hypotenuse of that triangle it is 5. and the height is 3.5. i found the lateral area first and used the formula LA=ph i got (4+3+5)(3.5)and that came to 42. i then used the formula SA=LA+2B(area of the base). i did 42+2(4(multiplied)by 4) and got 74. the quiestion is multiple choice.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you got the LA okay

the bases are two 3-4-5 right triangles ___ 2[(1/2)b*h] ___ 2[(1/2)3 * 4]

not sure where you got 4*4
