Step 1.  Find the sine of the angle between these sides from the equation

         Area = %281%2F2%29%2Aa%2Ab%2Asin%28alpha%29.


Step 2.  Having  sin%28alpha%29,  find  cos%28alpha%29 = +/- sqrt%281-sin%5E2%28alpha%29%29   (two values).



Step 3.  Having  cos%28alpha%29,  find the third side of the triangle using the cosine law.

         (You will get TWO values of the opposite side length).



Step 4.  Having the lengths of all three sides, find the perimeter of the triangle.

         (The perimeters of the TWO triangles, actually).
