Enter 85 into your calculator. Press the square root key. Press the square root key a second time. Round the result to the nearest tenth.
Or, if you are using the built-in windows calculator, you can enter 85, check the inverse box, click the x^y key, then enter 4 and click equals.
Even simpler on the windows calculator, enter 85, click x^y, enter 0.25, click equals.
Whatever method you use, round to the nearest tenth after ALL calculations are complete
