You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To get the next term, you're adding the last two previous term, so this means that the nth term is found by the formula

$a_{n} = a_{n-1} + a_{n-2} \ \text{where } n > 2$

To complete the formula, you would have to note that $a_{1} = 1$ and $a_{2} = 3$
