You can put this solution on YOUR website!

the numeral value of XX is 20

To make Roman numerals, we use seven letters from the alphabet. The letters, which are always capitalized, are I, V,+X, L,C,D, and M.
The table below shows you the value for each of these numerals:
I=1,
V=5,
+X=10,
L=50,
C=100,
D=500, and
M=1000
Numerals (their values) are added together when written in groups, so XX+=+20 because 10%2B10+=+20.
This list should help you get the hang of it!
1+=+I
2+=+II
3+=+III
4+=+IV
5+=+V=>note: when we have 4, I comes in front of V
6+=+VI and when we have 6, I comes after V(similar with other numbers)
7+=+VII
8+=+VIII
9+=+IX
10=+X
11=+XI
12=+XII
13=+XIII
14=+XIV
15=+XV
16=+XVI
17=+XVII
18=+XVIII
19=+XIX
20=+XX
30=+XXX
40=+XL
50=+L
