Let the breadth (width) be x metres.
As width is one third of length, the length will be 3x metres.
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2%28l%2Bb%29
So, perimeter = 2%2A%28x%2B3x%29 = 2%2A4x+=+8x+metres
It is given that perimeter is 88m.
So, 8*x = 88
x=11+metres.
So, dimensions are 11m and 11*3 = 33m.
Length = 33m, Width = 11m
