Question 469765: The given equation involves a power of the variable. Find all real solutions of the equation.
5(x − 7)2 = 35
The two in this problem is supposed to be to the 2nd power sign. Answer by Razzak Ahmed(10) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 5(x-7)^2=35:
Multiply 5 by x and -7^2 and it would look like this:5x-35^2
Add 35 to both sides so (-35)+35=0 and 35+35=70
So now it looks like this:5x=70
Then divide both sides by 5. So 70/5=14. So x=14
