You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hopefully, I am interpreting the problem correctly:
%282sqrt%283%29%29%2A%28sqrt%2827%29-sqrt%283%29%29
If you want to add or subtract 2 radicals, you can only do so if you have the same
quantity under the square root sign for both of them. So, in this case, the first
thing to do is simplify that sqrt(27):
sqrt%2827%29=sqrt%283%2A3%2A3%29=3sqrt%283%29
Cool, so now I can rewrite the original problem with this sqrt(27) simplified:
%282sqrt%283%29%29%2A%283sqrt%283%29-sqrt%283%29%29
Next, simplify what is in parenthesis:
%282sqrt%283%29%29%2A%282sqrt%283%29%29
Next, do the indicated multiplication:
4%2A3
And you are done:
highlight%2812%29
Good Luck,
