You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(squareroot)2=(squareroot)u
.
+2sqrt%282%29+=+sqrt%28u%29+
Square both sides:
+%282sqrt%282%29%29%5E2+=+%28sqrt%28u%29%29%5E2+
+4%2A2+=+u+
+8+=+u+

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To put something under the radical you need to multiply it by itself.
For example:2+=+sqrt%282%2A2%29 or rewritten as sqrt%284%29.
-----------------------------------
Now to your problem.
Given: 2%2Asqrt%282%29+=+sqrt%28U%29
To put the 2 under the radical you must do 2*2
sqrt%282%2A%282%2A2%29%29+=+sqrt%28U%29 Simplify
sqrt%288%29+=+sqrt%28U%29 Square both sides
highlight%288+=+U%29
