You can put this solution on YOUR website! How do I answer this problem? And fill out the table?
f(x)= x + 3 The x is supposed to have a i guess u would call it a radical square root over it.
Since the sqrt(x) has 2 values, + and minus, there are 2 values shown, except for x = 0.
-----------------
x...f(x)........f(x)
0...3.....................3
1...4.....................2
2...4.414+.......1.586+
3...4.732+.......1.268+
4...5.....................1
5...5.236+.......0.764+
-----------
The integers are exact, the ones such as 4.414+ are good to the digits shown.
At x = 2, f(x) = sqrt(2) + 3 and -sqrt(2) + 3
