You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is a%5E2%2B2 if a is the smallest root of x%5E2-3x-18?
Factor the trinomial:
(x + 3)*(x - 6)
So x = -3, 6
-3 is the smallest
Sub -3 for a
(-3)^2 + 2
= 11
