Question 385047: Given a level of confidence of 95% and a population standard deviation of 9, answer:
A). What other information is necessary to find the sample size of (n)?
B). Find the Maximum Error of Estimate (E) if n = 56. Show all calculations.

**I did not do that well on a test. Can someone please help me to understand this?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given a level of confidence of 95% and a population standard deviation of 9, answer:
A). What other information is necessary to find the sample size of (n)?
---
n = [z*s/E]^2
Need "E", which is the allowed error.
--------------------------------------------
B). Find the Maximum Error of Estimate (E) if n = 56. Show all calculations
---
Error = z*s/sqrt(n)
---
E = 1.96*9/sqrt(56)
--------------------------
