The probability of anything is the number of ways that it can happen that you would consider a success divided by the number of ways it can happen total -- successes and failures.

There are 30 people in the class -- that is the denominator of your fraction. Any one of the 20 females, brown eyes or not, is a success plus that half of the males that have brown eyes. 10 males half of which is 5. So 20 plus 5 is 25 and that is your numerator. Remember to reduce your fraction.
