You can put this solution on YOUR website! What the question wants is P (the sum is even, given the product is even). The formula for this is
P(sum even AND product even) / P(product even)
we toss three times, which means 8 total possible outcomes. Of those 8, the product is even 7 times and the sum is even 4 times. You can easily create a table for these.
(i) the product AND sum are even 4 times
(ii) the product is even by itself 7 times.
We have (4/8) / (7/8) = 4/7 which appears to be choice [ C ].
