Of 36 elements of the sample space, there are 6 doubles 


    (1,1), (2,2), (3,3), (4,4), (5,5), (6,6)


and 3 separate outcomes (4,6), (5,5) and (6,4) for a total of 10.


Of these 3 separate outcomes, one pair (5,5) is just accounted as a double.


Therefore, the probability under the problem'a question is


    P = %286%2B3-1%29%2F36 = 8%2F36 = 2%2F9.   ANSWER
