Drawing a spade of heart: 1/52 chance
Rolling an odd number on a dice: 1/2 chance
If both events have to happen together, (1/52)(1/2) = (1/104)

Sorry the other tutor didn't read the question right....

The probability of drawing a spade OR a heart is 26/52 = 1/2; so the probability of drawing spade or a heart and rolling an odd number on a fair die is (1/2)(1/2) = 1/4.
