2. The average number of traffic accidents per seven-day week on a certain section of highway is equal to 14. Based on this information, what is the probability that there will be four accidents on the Monday of a specific week?
3.A study on the delivery time of mail between two locations has found that the data follows a normal distribution. The study has also found that on average, mail takes up to five days to arrive with a standard deviation of 0:75 days. Using this information, what is the probability that the mail will take between four and six days to arrive?
4.A Cape Town courier service promises that 80%of Johannesburg-bound parcel deliveries will reach their destinations within 12 hours. What is the probability that of the seven parcels sent at random times by a particular client in Cape Town, only one is delivered late?
