Question 1042482: A laboratory in Florida is interested in finding the mean chloride level for a healthy resident in the state. A random sample of 80 healthy residents has a mean chloride level of 99 mEq/L. If it is known that the chloride levels in healthy individuals residing in Florida have a standard deviation of 38 mEq/L, find a 99% confidence interval for the true mean chloride level of all healthy Florida residents.
so what is the lower limit and upper limit?
thanks for ur helping

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the ci is the interval (mean +/- t (0.995,df=79)*s/sqrt(n))
the t=2.64, s=38, n=80
99+/-2.64*38/sqrt(80); interval itself is 11.22
(88,110) or (87.88,110.22)
