a. B := the first die shows a 1. Then P(B) = 1/6, and P(B|A) also equals 1/6.

b. B := the sum of the two dice is greater than 6. Then P(B) = 6/36 + 5/36 + ... + 2/36 = 21/36, while P(B|A) = 1.
