Question 1004404: I already worked this problem out, I just want to be sure I am correct.
A die is tossed, what is the probability that the roll will be less than 5, given that the result is even.
P(less than 5 | even)
First - P(Even) = 1/2
P(Less than 5) = 2/3
P (Less than 5 n even) = 1/2 * 2*3 = 1/3
P(<5 | even) = (1/3) / (1/2) = 2/3 probability that the roll will be even and less than 5.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! A die is tossed, what is the probability that the roll will be less than 5, given that the result is even.
