Question 94533: What is the domain of the square root of x+5?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is the domain of the square root of (x+5)?
You cannot take the square root of a negative number,
so x+5 must be greater than or equal to zero
x+5 >=0
x >= -5
Domain is "all Real Numbers greater than or equal to -5".
